Major Podcast Networking upgrades: sorting, filtering, notifications, past inclusions, and more!

You can now get a lot more insight from your Incoming Podcast Networking and Outgoing Podcasting Networking pages on the Constellation tier! This is our biggest update to the Podcast Networking feature!

For each podcast, you'll now see:

  • Podcast cover art, title, and artist(s)
  • Links for Apple Podcasts, the podcast website (if present), and RSS feed
  • Related ranking history
  • Average rating, total ratings, and total reviews (stats from only the US for now)
  • Number of available episodes
  • Latest episode's publication date
  • Date the podcast was discovered in Networking
  • Date the podcast was removed by the algorithms
  • The podcast's genre(s)
  • The podcast's full description

You can even now see the podcasts that used to be in your networking list!

And to make all of this easier to navigate, you can now filter the podcasts by genre and date they've been in your networking; or sort the list by recommendation position, latest episode date, ratings or reviews, average rating, episode count, title, and artist.

Plus, you'll now receive email notifications for when new podcasts are discovered in your incoming or outgoing lists. These default to sending as soon as possible, but you can change the schedule for these emails in your Notification Settings.

As a reminder, the Podcast Networking feature is exclusive to the Constellation tier and it shows podcasts with which yours has a significant crossover audience. Your own podcast will have a maximum of 15 outgoing podcasts where a large enough percentage of your own audience also follows those other shows. Incoming Networking checks all the millions of other podcasts and finds which of them have a large enough portion of their audience also following your podcast. And the networking feature tracks your ranking in these recommendations. Look at these as networking opportunities: cross-guesting, cross-promotion, collaboration, and more!
